Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Business Match. By using the service or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Business Match provides

Business Match is a research and decision-support product. It compares information you provide about your goals, budget, preferences and constraints against a researched set of business opportunities and produces ranked recommendations, supporting research and educational content.

2. Informational use only

Business Match does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, investment or professional advice. Match scores are comparative fit indicators, not probabilities of success, earnings forecasts or guarantees. You are responsible for independently validating any opportunity before investing money, entering contracts, obtaining licences, hiring, borrowing or taking other business action.

3. Accounts and accurate information

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for providing information that is reasonably accurate. Recommendations may be less useful when answers are incomplete, inaccurate or intentionally misleading.

4. Purchases

Paid reports are sold as one-time purchases for the specific assessment shown at checkout. Prices and included features are displayed before payment. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's applicable terms.

5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Research and third-party sources

We use public and third-party information to research opportunities. Markets, prices, regulations, licensing requirements and source material can change. We do not guarantee that every external source is complete, current or error-free.

7. Acceptable use

You may use Business Match for your own lawful business research. You may not attempt to interfere with the service, bypass access controls, scrape or systematically copy the underlying opportunity database, resell reports as your own product, or use the service for unlawful activity.

8. Intellectual property

The Business Match software, interface, scoring presentation, written analysis and compiled opportunity dataset are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks and source materials remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

We may improve, modify or discontinue features, scoring presentation or content. We may also suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance or legal compliance.

10. Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that recommendations will produce revenue, profit, financing, customers or any particular outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Match is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from business decisions made using the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
